I’m pleased to announce that after several years of writing and producing, my first release as The Resident Alien entitled “The Only Constant Is Change” is now available on Bandcamp. Along with the digital release, I’ve printed up 100 physical copies of the CD. This was partly funded by the crowdfunding campaign I did in the fall of 2015 and I would like to thank everyone again for their donation! You guys are great and, hopefully, if you requested a copy of the CD it has arrived by now.
If you didn’t buy an advanced copy and liked the music or want to support me, please consider buying a copy now! The suggested price is $7 CAD but you can always donate more if you are feeling flush and generous. With the purchase you get all the music and all the album artwork. It all helps to recoup the costs of manufacturing and releasing the project. It’s been a labor of love but labor nonetheless.
I’m in the process of putting together a live show incorporating the music. I’m also looking to get the album reviewed and played as much as possible, so if anyone has any suggestions I’d love to hear them.
Finally, if you haven’t liked the project yet on Facebook or Twitter, please consider doing it. It’s a little gesture that actually helps us out a lot because people in the biz love to see BIG numbers!
Thanks again for listening and I hope you have a happy summer.
I’m very excited to announce that the first batch of Resident Alien CDs for The Only Constant Is Change album have arrived. And they look great! I want to extend a huge thank-you to the talented and hardworking folks who helped me to realize my vision with this album: Mauro DePasquale at MauroMultimedia for his excellent design work and superquick turnaround, as well as Kinga Michalska and Khoa Tran for the great photos.
The album will be fully available online for streaming and purchase very soon, including the CDs for anyone who wants a physical copy. I’m currently working on some shows to promote and perform the material, and I should have some more information about that soon. For everyone who donated to the crowdfunding campaign, you should be getting your discs soon! I appreciate everyone’s past and continued support.
I also wanted to give a mention to Oasis CD Manufacturing who printed the CDs for me. The original order of 100 CDs that I ordered from them had a minor issue with the packaging. I mentioned this to them, and they immediately sent me a new batch of CDs with the issue corrected, no questions asked. I truly appreciate that level of customer service and Oasis gets 2 thumbs up in my book!
Finally, if you are a music critic, journalist or blogger who would like to review the album, please contact me and I’ll be happy to furnish you with a free promotional copy. Feedback and reviews (hopefully positive 😉 ) are always helpful and greatly appreciated.
I decided to release a preview of a composition that I’ve been working on recently that I’m calling “Nemrac The Terrible”. It’s still a work in progress but this is what I have so far. Hope you enjoy it!
