Dive into the ethereal realms of acoustic serenity with “Oh Dear!” a captivating fingerstyle work of art that transcends musical boundaries. This dreamy, introspective album invites listeners on a journey through the intricate tapestry of guitar melodies, skillfully woven by the fingers of this talented artist.

Originally released in 2009, this seminal album that was written, recorded and produced by Andreas Blachere has been remastered and is being re-released. Recorded in a converted Pencil Factory in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and mixed in a farmhouse in Massachusetts, this acoustic album features 9 original tracks of fingerstlye, classical and jazz guitar and one cover song all performed on a classical guitar with a menagerie of supporting instruments and sounds.

Each track on this album is a work of art, meticulously crafted to transport you to a world where emotions unfold like delicate petals, carried away on the gentle breeze of acoustic strings. Blachere’s mastery of fingerstyle and classical guitar technique creates a cascade of harmonies, enveloping the listener in a sonic dreamscape that resonates with depth and emotion.

"Farewell to Friends" introduces the subtle heartbeat of Amos Fisher on drums, adding a rhythmic dimension that enhances the emotional impact of the piece. The collaboration with Fisher brings an organic, dynamic quality to the track, allowing the listener to feel the ebb and flow of emotions like waves crashing on the shore.

"Last Day on Earth" introduces a mesmerizing interplay between the clarinet and the intricate fingerstyle guitar, creating a hauntingly beautiful atmosphere. The clarinet, played by Amos Fisher, weaves its soulful melodies around the guitar, transporting the listener to a melancholic yet enchanting space that mirrors the transient nature of existence.

As “Oh Dear!” unfolds, each song becomes a chapter in a sonic novel, telling stories and inviting introspection. It is not merely an album; it's a profound exploration of the human experience through the language of music. Let the intricate fingerstyle guitar, coupled with the evocative lyrics and soulful singing, guide you through a dreamscape of emotions taking you on a journey that transcends time and space.
